Targit has launched Decision Suite 2015, which it says builds on the previous version of the business intelligence and analytics platform in four areas. That includes improved data governance and enterprise user administration. There is also integrated access, meaning users can analyze Excel and other flat files not found in the data warehouse and external data sources via one tool. New data connections to big data source are added at the demand of users. “Decision Suite 2015 caters to the dual demands of IT and business users through governed roll-out of enterprise data and provides anywhere access to rich analysis via smartphone or other mobile device, among other featured enhancements,” CEO Morten Sandlykke said in a prepared statement. By utilizing Decision Suite 2015, users can analyze not only Excel and other flat files not found within the data warehouse, but can also address external data sources in one completely connected tool. New data connections to big data sources are added as needed by users. Targit also says insight is activated throughout the organization with users able to select the format that works best for them by using the client, Targit Anywhere, which delivers data to users from within platforms they work in the most. Finally, the company describes the user interface as having an “engaging new look and feel.” This is accomplished through new visualization options.
