The Association of Dynamics Professionals (DynamicsPro) – the body that carries on the cause of certification for Microsoft Dynamics GP and NAV professionals – has completed its core-level certification exam for Dynamics NAV, with plans to launch the exam in late March.
At present, core-level exams for both Dynamics GP and Dynamics NAV are available as follows:
Dynamics NAV Core Application Setup Certification
NEW: Dynamics NAV Core Installation & Configuration Certification
NEW: Dynamics NAV Core Development Certification.
The core development certification is unique to NAV, compared to GP.
The Dutch Dynamics Community, which meets quarterly, will host the first-ever independent professional certification for Dynamics NAV in Europe. The new, complete NAV program will premiere alongside the Dynamics GP program in the Netherlands on March 29. These exams will also be offered in the UK on April 5 and in Denmark on April 8.
Joe Carroll, executive of DynamicsPro, says “We expect that these will be offered at every exam sitting from this point forward,” beginning in the US on April 7 in Tampa, Florida, and at such events as NAVUG Focus and GPUG Focus in Schaumberg, Illinois in June. A Dynamics community effort
As we reported earlier, The Association of Dynamics Professionals is a volunteer organization formed with the support of Microsoft channel partners and professionals. It was formed out of necessity when, in August 2014, Microsoft ended professional certifications for Microsoft Dynamics GP, NAV and SL. An enormous grassroots effort among 20 partners delivered the first set of certification exams in September 2015, for Dynamics NAV and Dynamics GP.
Certifications are open not to organizations or partner firms, but to individual Dynamics practitioners. Any member of the Dynamics professional community can earn Dynamics Credentialed Professional Certification in the following areas:
In addition to the core certifications, DynamicsPro plans to offer Advanced Certifications (due in 2016) and Masters Certifications (due in 2017).
