The NAV People Implement Dynamics NAV for Datek Solutions

UK-based IT consultancy Datek Solutions is using Microsoft Dynamics NAV implemented by The NAV People to provide to help the company meet its long-term growth plans.

Dynamics NAV has helped Datek better manage its inventory and improve its financial reporting. In addition, the contact management capabilities of Dynamics NAV have enhanced customer relationships through the tracking of all customer transactions and interactions, according to company officials.

Datek was looking for a solution that could track the serial numbers associated with products and customer transactions. Since implementing the solution Datek has logged the serial number of every product, providing a detailed history of customer buying habits, officials stated. The functionality within the supply chain module helps Datek to meet and exceed the expectations of customers.

“When one of our customers was burgled, we were able to provide the serial numbers of the equipment that they had purchased from us within minutes for the police and insurance company,” said Malcolm Kanter, director of Datek Solutions, in a statement. “This was thanks to the ability to track all serial numbers associated with customer transactions within Microsoft Dynamics NAV – something that The NAV people helped us to set up.”
