Sylogist Inks Global Deal for Public Sector with Microsoft

Sylogist Ltd., through its Serenic Software operating division, has amended its solution provider agreement with Microsoft to address the large opportunity emerging in the public sector ERP marketplace, particularly in North American mid-markets.

As a Microsoft ISV, Serenic has provided a complete public sector accounting solution through its Serenic Navigator accounting software. Navigator is built on Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

This new agreement moves Serenic’s relationship with Microsoft beyond the company’s traditional focus on non-government organizations, not-for-profits, government special agencies and government financial organizations, to include school districts and local government, according to company officials

Sylogist will also sell the public sector solutions directly through its divisions’ sales forces as it has done in the past, officials said.

“The major opportunity in the United States and Canada is for the large base of public sector organizations suffering with multi-vendor legacy systems,” said Jim Wilson, president and CEO of Sylogist, in a statement. “Sylogist will now be able to offer this large group a comprehensive solution, fully integrated with their other Microsoft products, operating in the secure Microsoft Azure cloud or on-premises of the customers’ choosing.”

Beyond Bank Australia Partners with UXC Eclipse in the Cloud

UXC Eclipse, a CSC company, has successfully implemented a cloud-based IT solution that is transforming operations and improving customer interactions for Beyond Bank, one of Australia’s largest customer-owned banks.

With more than 200,000 customers, Beyond Bank Australia wanted to better provide services to customers, track interactions, manage workflows, and maintain and secure customer information. UXC Eclipse implemented a solution that utilizes the entire Microsoft stack in the cloud, including Dynamics CRM Online, Office 365, SharePoint, Dynamics Marketing, Azure Service Bus, and more, company officials said.

The Microsoft solution delivered by UXC Eclipse gives Beyond Bank’s 600 employees a 360-degree view of the customer, streamlining processes so the bank can better take advantage of opportunities to upsell and cross sell more successfully, officials said.

The first stage of this implementation began in September 2015, and the full offering will be live later this month.
