Chessington Garden Centre Expands into Lucrative New Business Areas Supported by Microsoft Dynamics NAV

Chessington Garden Centre in the UK is using Microsoft Dynamics NAV integrated with LS NAV POS system from The NAV People to support its business plans.

Dynamics NAV integrated with LS NAV has allowed Chessington to launch an award-winning garden design, build and maintenance service, deploy a new ecommerce “click-and-collect” service, and host a calendar of sell-out events, according to a press statement by both companies.

Chessington standalone systems are now integrated with Dynamics NAV, providing a single source of intelligence that has delivered the insight to enable the company to develop new services and increase revenue.

“Chessington Garden Centre had a clear vision of how they wanted to expand their services but required greater insight from their data to inform business decisions,” said Ian Humphries, managing and product director at The NAV People, in the statement. “Dynamics NAV has enabled Chessington Garden Centre to expand into exciting new business areas and generate revenue streams in addition to their core business.”

Mattress Firm Achieves Omni-Channel Enablement by Partnering with Visionet Systems

Mattress Firm has chosen Visionet Systems to integrate its e-commerce systems with Microsoft Dynamics AX to produce a single repository that synchronizes all business information across retail channels in near real-time.

Maintaining a single data repository lets Mattress Firm implement omni-channel workflows such as support for in-store or home delivery of products ordered over the phone or online, according to officials of the companies.

“Visionet’s integration solution for Demandware and Dynamics AX has simplified our retail order management,” said Jonathan Sider, CIO at Mattress Firm, in a statement. “It ensures a single version of the truth, and prevents the proliferation of separate information silos for each sales channel. Automatic synchronization between Dynamics and Demandware has eliminated the need for other error-prone and labor-intensive methods.”

Completely linking the two systems has helped Mattress Firm effectively monitor and optimize customer interactions, officials said. Visionet’s CommerceLink solution has helped the company achieve visibility into all of its consumer interactions across its multiple online and store channels.

mcaConnect Achieves Microsoft’s Elite Partner Status

mcaConnect has achieved two new Microsoft competencies: Gold Cloud Platform partner status and Silver Data Platform partner status.

Gold Cloud Platform status requires meeting such advanced criteria as numerous customer references and individual staff certifications.

Microsoft’s Silver Data Platform competency trusted providers of Microsoft SQL Server deployment planning services. Providing these services allows mcaConnect to work with customers looking to create a business intelligence solution or migrate to the latest version of the SQL Server, says the company.

“Achieving Silver Data Platform partner status benefits our customers in terms of the service and technical expertise they will receive from mcaConnect,” described Mark Hatting, managing director for mcaConnect’s Business Analytics team.

mcaConnect’s Microsoft competencies now total four: Gold Enterprise Resource Planning, Gold Cloud Customer Relationship Management, Gold Cloud Platform and Silver Data Platform. mcaConnect plans additional competencies as it diversifies its product and service offerings outside of ERP and CRM.

No Cost Microsoft Dynamics Marketplace Ready to Embed on Partner Websites

A Dynamics Cloud Marketplace website app, released last month by goERPcloud to help digitally enhance the sales and marketing efforts of Dynamics partners, is now available for ERP VARs to customize and drop onto their own websites at no cost.

The centrally managed on-demand ERP cloud trial platform includes a catalogue of more than 180 ISV solutions. The goERPcloud Marketplace App can be easily tailored to suit the needs and themes of the VARs’ websites, according to the company.

“We have found a way to self-monetize goERPcloud to offer Dynamics Partners a no cost marketplace app to enhance their company websites,” said Michael Bone, chief revenue officer of RoseASP, the organization powering goERPcloud.
