Sr. Dynamics Project Manager

Unlike many other Microsoft Dynamics partners, they focus solely on Dynamics AX.
Location: Eastern Canada
Reporting: Will be reporting to the Director of Canadian Services
Compensation: $110-145k/yr salary + Bonus and above average benefits package.
Travel: Limited to Eastern Canada, around 25% average.
Overview: Good PM skills – a PMP is helpful, Would like to see a background having done ERP implementation from start to finish in Dynamics AX. Knowledge of what a manufacturing company needs to be successful.
Strong organizational and communication skills will be critical.
Understanding of how to manage a budget. Budget supports a specific scope for a project.
How to manage people (project teams of 4 people-median size), can range 2-10 people. Growing towards larger teams – combination of both technical and functional resources. May have a technical lead that can help.
Ensuring proper follow up is being handled.
Pipeline is stronger than it’s ever been and backlog is exploding.
Hasn’t had a layoff in years, and they do not hire just for the current projects. Looking for good folks they can continue growing their respective AX Practice in the Canadian market with.
For most of the PM’s, they are managing 1 major project at a time and may assist with some other smaller ones as well.
Very close ties to Microsoft – has developed their own I.P. that has been purchased by Microsoft and incorporated within the AX product.
Typically working on some of the largest and highest profile AX deployments in the world.
Wkg to do better sales – services handoff. Building a community of people that know each other and can lean on each other.

The individual in this role will provide project management direction and advice to clients as well as team members with the goal to influence client growth and success and team growth and success.
The individual in this role will manage the business analysis, software development, implementation, and production support of projects. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overall project management including project budget, project planning/estimation, recruiting and resource planning, project delivery and implementation. S/he will be responsible for communicating project direction and status to the client, for managing client expectations, and for building successful client relationships.
The Senior Project Manager is capable of managing large complex projects. S/he will be responsible for management of all project resources including mentoring, billing utilization, performance reviews, individual career development, conflict management/team dynamics, directing and motivating team members.
The Senior Project Manager will also assist in proposal writing, sales presentations, and securing follow-on business.
